The Basic Bitches are a riot-grrrl/garage rock duo from Sullivan County, NY (and a couple of other places). Naomi sings and plays guitar, Krystal plays drums and does some vocals. They write songs with solid hooks and choruses you can shout along to. If you’re a fan of Sleater Kinney, Screaming Females, Ex Hex, The Gossip, Wimps, Jesus Lizard, The White Stripes, and Joan Jett, you’re going to like them, too.
